William E. (Bill) Woodson (1945-2024)

Senior Partner

Bill Woodson was born and raised in Norman and the son of a prominent physician, Dr. O. M. Woodson. He has more than 40 years of experience as a trial lawyer and workers' compensation lawyer. Woodson has handled and tried cases across the State of Oklahoma and in other states.


His practice focuses solely on representing people who have been injured or who have died as a result of the negligence of others or who have been injured or killed while on the job. Mr. Woodson has been successful lead counsel in hundreds of civil and criminal jury and non-jury trials resulting in millions of dollars in verdicts and settlements benefiting his clients.

Senior Partner

Kurt W. Goodwin joined Woodson & Goodwin Law in 2008. For Kurt, it is not just about winning; it is about representing the client and forcing those who are responsible for their wrongs be made accountable. His philosophy is simple: Spend as much time as possible on your client's case and work harder than your opponent to prepare.


Kurt has significant experience in handling all types of personal injury accidents, including but not limited to: motor vehicle collisions, trucking collisions, motorcycle collisions, insurance disputes, medical malpractice, and workers' compensation. Additionally, Mr. Goodwin has extensive experience in handling jury and non-jury trials that have led to many successful verdicts and settlements to benefit his clients. He is well respected by his peers and insurance company adjusters and lawyers, which has assisted him in getting to a successful resolution for his clients. It is imperative to be able to quickly and efficiently assist those who have been injured, find themselves in pain, in financial straits, and in need of a proven attorney to get results from insurance providers. Mr. Goodwin's work ethic is vitally imperative to rapidly and professionally help those who have been injured on the job or for those who have been wronged by the negligence of others. 


Kurt has been married to his wife, Natalie, for over 20 years. He has three amazing children that keep him young and very busy. He enjoys watching his children play numerous sports across Oklahoma and regionally. In his free time he loves to fish, play golf, and cheering on the Oklahoma Sooners in any sport capacity.
